Factors Affecting Costs

When it comes to pricing your Christmas light installation, several factors come into play. Here’s a breakdown of what can affect the overall cost of your holiday display:

1-Year vs. Multi-Year Agreement

Choosing a multi-year agreement will save you money in the long run. With a 1-year contract, you’ll pay for installation, takedown, and storage each season. However, a multi-year agreement locks in future discounts and ensures priority scheduling.

Number of Levels (1-Story vs. 2-Story)

The number of levels on your home impacts the difficulty and time required for installation. A 1-story home is easier to access and requires less labor, making it more affordable. 2-story homes, however, involve more equipment and safety precautions, which can increase the overall cost.

Complexity of Roof

The complexity of your roof plays a big role in determining the installation cost. Simple, straight roof lines are quicker and easier to work with. However, homes with steep pitches, dormers, valleys, or intricate architecture require more skill and time, leading to a higher installation cost.

Expected Installation Time

Each project is unique, and the expected installation time depends on your home’s size, the number of lights, and the complexity of the design. Simple designs on smaller homes will take less time, whereas larger homes or more intricate displays will require additional labor and increase the cost.

Quantity of Lights

The quantity of lights you choose is one of the biggest factors in pricing. If you’re just lighting the front of your home, your cost will be lower. A full-wrap display that covers all sides of your home or specific features like trees, bushes, and walkways will increase the price.

Material, Labor, and Overhead Costs

Your installation price includes the cost of materials like commercial-grade lights, clips, and cords, as well as the labor required for installation, maintenance, and take down. Additionally, overhead costs such as insurance, equipment, and storage are factored into the final price. By using high-quality materials and expert installers, we ensure you get the best value for your investment.
